To make delicious corned beef patties, I am using very simple ingredients. They are extremely affordable and you can use them to make your favorite patties.

First, I am using canned corn beef. You heard it right! It is not a fresh corned beef, but a canned good that I bought from a grocery store. You can use any brand you like and it doesn't matter. Before mixing with other ingredients, you have to make sure you remove the juices of the corned beef.

Second, I am using two important vegetables- Potatoes and Carrot. They are healthy vegetables that help provide nutritional content that is not found in canned corn beef. When mixing the corned beef, I have grated these vegetables

Third, I added chopped garlic and onion in my patties. They give a nice flavor of the patties. Fourth, you need salt and black pepper for seasoning the patties.

Lastly, I use one egg to help bind all the ingredients. This will help hold together when making a corn beef patties.

Do you need to store in the fridge before cooking?

There some I know when they make patties; whether a tuna, beef, or chicken patties, they usually put it in a fridge before cooking. The coolness of the fridge will further help hold the patties together when cooking.

However, I don't really put it in a fridge. I just cook it directly in the pan. I believe this is just an optional as long you remove the juices of the corned beef to avoid having watery patties.

The Step by Step Instructions of this Recipe

The first step to make this delicious appetizer is to add the corned beef, grated potatoes & carrots, chopped onion & garlic, and egg in a large bowl. Mix them all together. Add salt and black pepper for taste.

Later, use your hand to make patties. I used two tablespoons when forming a patty. This recipe is good for 8 patties.

After that, add vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Once it is hot, add the patties and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until it turns dark brown. Flip it and repeat the process.

And lastly, put the paper towel in a plate before transferring the patties to drain the excess oil. And you are done.
