How things stand
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
That victory puts Ireland in second after the third round. They'll still need France to fail to beat Wales or England to be in with a chance of the title.
But there is a chance.

Ireland weren't ruthless
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Chris Henry
Former Ireland flanker on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio Ulster
You have to feel sorry for the Italian players and coaches that the game went that way.
The word we used is ruthless, it should have been a lot worse.
'I couldn't ask for more from the boys' - Lamaro
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Italy captain Michele Lamaro says the law which meant they had to go down to 13 men was "really punishing".
He told ITV: "Obviously it's the rule. I don't know. If you have to see the pride we show, I couldn't ask anything more from the boys.
"It's difficult to be happy with such a result because that is what matters in the end. The boys stayed in the fight.
"We managed the game pretty well with 13. But credit to Ireland for adapting well to some areas that were easy to attack. We have to leak something when you are 13 against 15."

'There was no intent in red card tackle'
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Ireland captain Peter O'Mahony told BBC Radio Ulster: "I think red cards like that do games no favours. I don't think there is any intent there. It's difficult, you have to watch your tackle height but I don't think there was any intent.
"Italy stuck in there. We stuttered as well. With the stopping and starting it took the tempo out of the game. We have a lot to work on
"It's not something you plan for but you have to navigate your way. through and we could have done that better."
Italy 'unbelievably brave' - Farrell
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Ireland head coach Andy Farrell told ITV it was a "strange old game".
"I thought it was sloppy at times," he added.
"We got the points we needed at the end but a game becomes frustrating when you come down to 12 men.
"I thought Italy were unbelievably brave. Getting off the line. Really tough and hard at the breakdown. It gave us lots to ponder on.
"It's not nice to see for the game."
On debutant Michael Lowry, he said: "He was sharp and brave. It says a lot about the man when he's on a hat-trick and he puts the ball in James Lowe's hands."
Huge credit to Italy
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
David Humphreys
Former Ulster and Ireland fly-half on BBC Two NI
When a team goes down to 12 or 13 they are usually the ones giving away penalties. Ireland gave away nine penalties to Italy's eight. Huge credit for Italy, you do have to give them some credit for not capitulating in the second half.
They have had a tough start to the competition, they are a project. The problem is Italian rugby has been up and down at club level.
They deserve to stay in the Six Nations. 100%.

John Guy: Such a shame rules, have ruined today's game. Italy were playing great before the sending off. Still gutted for Italy.
'We have a lot to improve on'
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Player of the Match Josh van der Flier told BBC Radio Ulster: "Obviously it's a very pleasing result, the support was great. It was a tough fight from Italy, it was tough going for them with 13 men for the majority of the game.
"They made it very difficult for us, we have a lot to improve on going into England."
Farrell has a clear view
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
David Humphreys
Former Ulster and Ireland fly-half on BBC Two NI
You couldn't say one individual played badly in the loss to France.
Andy Farrell has a clear view with the team he wants. Going to Twickenham is a huge game, especially this year in terms of keeping them in the tournament.
'Something I will never forget' - Lowry
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Debutant Michael Lowry scored two tries and, looking like there was a tear or two in his eye, told ITV it was a "special feeling".
"I tried to compose myself coming out to thousands of people," he said.
"All I can say is thanks to everyone who got me to this situation here today.
"Lining up for the anthems is everyone's childhood dream and that chance is something I will never forget.
"I've worked hard for this. Hopefully I'll step on from this now and get a few more caps.
"It was just about playing our game. fair play to Italy they kept coming after us. We had to play our game and be patient."
Ireland will be in decent shape for England
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Dan Tuohy
Former Ireland second row on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio Ulster
The Ireland squad should be in decent shape before the game against England. It'll be a difficult game but they are certainly capable of it. Lowry, hopefully he gets an opportunity to be in this squad over the next few weeks.

FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
What a bizarre match. Italy went down to 13 men after their replacement hooker was sent off and they were forced to play uncontested scrums.
Braam Steyn's late yellow card meant they went down to 12 at the end of the game.
Given all that, the Azzurri did a decent job of defending in Dublin.

Game ruined early on
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
Dan Tuohy
Former Ireland second row on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio Ulster
Disappointed for Italy, the game was ruined by the sending off. They were not helped by the refereeing decision.
It leaves them having lost three and only 16 points overall scored.
Full-time
FT: Ireland 57-6 Italy
A great win for Ireland's points difference.
A heroic effort from Italy. Captain Michele Lamaro's fallen face says it all.
Ireland had options
Ireland 57-6 Italy
Dan Tuohy
Former Ireland second row on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio Ulster
A great finish there. Like we touched on earlier, Italy on their feet. Ireland had plenty of different options there.
Try - Ireland 57-6 Italy
Kieran Treadwell
It's over at last.
Ireland string together some slick passes and as there has been since Italy went down to 13 after 20 minutes, there is plenty of space for someone to scurry over.
Kieran Treadwell is the man on the job this time.
Johnny Sexton's conversion makes the final score 57-6.

Edoardo Padovani almost manages to reclaim the kick but Peter O'Mahony keeps the ball safe.
Here Ireland come again...
Unsure of the new law
Ireland 50-6 Italy
Dan Tuohy
Former Ireland second row on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio Ulster
I'm not too sure about it to be honest. It's disappointing, you make that dart for the line the referee says it's held up.
I'm a fan of the 50:22 but I'm unsure if I like the goalline drop out.
